ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC), a Singapore-headquartered data centre colocation provider, announced yesterday via LinkedIn that it has signed an MOU with IBM for advancing the next generation of AI and quantum computing in Singapore.

This MOU builds on IBM’s collaboration with the National University of Singapore (NUS)’s Integrated Quantum & AI Computing Consortium, where IBM already provides cloud‑based access to its quantum computing resources through the IBM–NUS Research and Innovation Centre. STT GDC will soon join this ecosystem to work alongside its partners, focusing on accelerating AI and quantum capabilities.

“As demand for advanced computing continues to grow, cross-sector collaboration between the tech industry, academia and infrastructure providers will be essential. Through this collaboration, we look forward to exchanging expertise across infrastructure, talent, and deployment – supporting research today while laying the foundation for scalable, sustainable real-world applications as well as potential commercial pathways,” said STT GDC on LinkedIn.
